Around the world: one kitchen per cuisine
The episodes in Kitchen Rush sit on a globe, one road of stops per region, and every region has its own kitchen, its own menu and its own way of going wrong.
Asia: Hana
A compact Japanese kitchen on a busy street. Sushi rice washed and cooked in batches, salmon maki rolled by hand at the sushi bar, ramen with its broth and noodles, crispy gyoza, a wakame salad. Later in the region a kaiten belt runs beside the tables, carrying plates past the guests. Asia is where you start, and it is open now.
The Mediterranean: Liman
A seaside taverna with whitewashed walls, blue shutters and olive wood, somewhere you could not tell is Turkey or Greece. The menu: a meze plate, şiş turned by hand on a charcoal mangal, pide from the oven, a döner plate (one load of the spit serves four), and baklava baked by the tray. The oven is shared by pide and baklava, so one tray can hold the other up. Liman is coming next.
Latin America
The third region is on the globe already, under cloches. Its kitchen is still being cooked up.
A fourth star
Win every episode in a region and its episodes get a fourth star: a higher score for players who want to go back and run the same kitchen better.
