Kitchen Rush: Under Staffed · Last updated: 26 October 2026
Kitchen Rush: Under Staffed ("the game") is made by Ekim Basoglu ("we"). This page says what the game does with information.
What stays on your device
Your settings (language, music and sound volume, difficulty) and your progress are saved on your device only. We never receive them.
What we do not collect
The game has no account, no sign-in, no chat, and does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location.
Anonymous play statistics
To see which levels are too hard and where players stop, the game sends us anonymous statistics: which screens are opened, when a level starts and ends with its stars and coins, the difficulty picked, plus the language, the screen size, the app version and a random number made on your device the first time the game runs. It is not linked to you, your name, your Apple or Google account, or the advertising identifier, and it is never sold or shared.
- The statistics go to our own server (Umami, self-hosted); your IP address is used only to estimate the country and is not stored.
- You can switch it off at any time: Settings > Share anonymous stats.
Ads
The game shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google's SDK may use your device's advertising identifier, your approximate location (from your IP address) and information about how you interact with ads. Google acts as an independent data controller for this; see policies.google.com/privacy.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks for your consent before ads are personalised. You can answer no and still play everything.
- On iOS the game asks Apple's permission before the advertising identifier is used for tracking. You can say no.
- You can change your choice at any time: on iOS in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, on Android in Settings > Google > Ads.
- The game is meant for everyone; ads are limited to a family-friendly (PG) content rating.
Website visits
The game's website counts its visits with the same self-hosted Umami: the page opened, where the visit came from, the browser, the screen size, the country (from your IP address, which is not stored) and a few taps, such as joining the list or opening a store link. It sets no cookies and is not linked to you.
The email list (website only)
The game's website has an optional launch list. If you join it, we keep your email address to tell you when the game comes out and when a new kitchen opens, nothing else.
- We only add you when you tick the consent box, and every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us to be removed.
- The list is kept by Resend (resend.com), our email provider, which stores the address for us and sends the emails. We never sell or share it.
- The game itself never asks for your email.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads are requested with a family-friendly content rating.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK or elsewhere with similar laws, you may ask Google about the data it holds through its own tools (myaccount.google.com). The only personal data we may hold is your email address, if you joined the website's launch list; email us to see it or have it deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here and in the game with a new date.
