Chaos in the kitchen: fire, the inspector, a blown fuse and a flood
A calm shift is a good shift, but some episodes do not stay calm. Each twist arrives with a warning first, so you have a moment to react.
Fire
A cooker smokes, then catches. A burning station stops working and nobody can use it. Drag a chef onto it and they grab the extinguisher; two chefs put it out faster. Leave it and it can spread to the station next door.
The health inspector
The inspector walks in and you get a few seconds to tidy up. Then they take one of your chefs aside for a while, and the kitchen has to cope one chef short.
The fuse
The lights flicker, then go. Anything electric stops until someone resets the fuse box. Send a chef, and pick one you can spare.
The flood
A sink drips, then bursts. Water spreads across the floor and chefs wade through it slowly until it is fixed.
New twists for the Mediterranean
Liman will bring its own when it opens: a tourist bus that fills the terrace at once, a heatwave that wears out the chefs at the grill, and a wedding table whose plates all have to leave together.
