Can you play Kitchen Rush with a friend?

Short answer: not yet. Kitchen Rush launches as a single-player game, and co-op is coming in an update.

Why it starts solo

The heart of the game is one person reading the whole kitchen and deciding who goes where. That works best when the plan is in one head. Getting it right alone first makes co-op better when it comes.

Until then

• Pass the phone: one player runs a shift, the other calls out the jams. It is louder than it sounds.
• Race for stars: play the same episode and compare scores.
• Try Oven Rush: Pizza Pals, our other game, which already has online co-op through Game Center and two controllers on one iPad.

Hear first
